Executive Leadership

Emergency and Law Enforcement Authority
- Has the power to declare a local emergency.
- Oversees (indirectly) the police and fire departments.
- May issue directives during emergencies and coordinate disaster response.
Board Appointments
- Makes appointments to city boards, commissions, and committees (e.g., Planning & Zoning, Arts Commission, Parks & Rec)
